GREYMOUTH, June 15.
It is understood that a compromise will shortly be come to between the Point Elizabeth Brunner Coal Company and Mr Jellicoe regarding the claims against the Company by the widows of those killed in tbe Brunner explosion, so as to terminate tbe present litigation and settle all matters in dispute. The Company's brick kilns are being got ready for work.
