MARKET REPORTS.

At Amberley yesterday there was an entry of 1500 to 2000 sheep. Freezing wethere 15s 4d, light freezers to 13s, maiden ewes 13a to 14s, store lambs 7s 3d, fat lambs 10s to 10s 3d, butchers , ewes 10s Id tolOsod, forward store wethers 12s 4d, crossbred ewes and wethers 7s to Bs.

Messrs Pyne and Co. report:—At our Springston saleyards there were yarded 3000 sheep, 70 head cattle, horses, pigs, and a lot of sundries. There was a large attendance of farmers and dealers, and good business was done right through the sale, some quite sensational prices being obtained, viz., 21s for a small line of twotooth wethere, and 14s for a few splendid fat lambs, both lines coming from Mr J. McClelland, of Springston, and purchased by Mr A. L. Joseph. Other sales were as follows:—168 sound-mouth ewes in lamb at 8s lid, 195 wethers and maiden ewes at 11s sd, 80 prime fat ewes at 12s, 120 wethers and maiden ewes at 10s 6d, 29 fat ewes at 10a, 60 store lambs at 6s 6d, 44 wethers at 9a 3d, 53 splendid fat ewes at 13s lid, 44 cull lambs at 2s sd, 14 fat ewes at 12s 2d, 15 do at lls 2d, 90 store lambs at 4s lOd, 41 fat ewes at 10s lid, 25 tat ewes at lls, 184 sound-month ewes in lamb at 9a, 80 fat ewes at 12s sd, and a few small lines. Thexe was a fair enquiry for wethers for finishing offi The few lines of wethers on offer were too backward, and most of them were passed unsold. A small entry of pigs sold very well. Most of the cattle sold at ruling rates: —Springing cows from £4 5s to £510 a, store cows 26s to 555, two-year-old heifers 35s to 48s, calves lls to 18s. A'lot of sundries sold as follows:— Oaten aheaf chaff 3s lid per bag, carrote 4s 3d per bag, onions 8s per 1001b, parsnips 3s per bag, pig potatoes 3s to 5s per bag.
