PANIC IN A CIRCUS.
Adelaide, June 18.
During a performance of Harmston's circus, at Gawler, a tiger seized his trainer by the neck and jumped over a hurdle with him into a cage. The animal's attention was diverted and the trainer rescued. His wounds are serious. The audience was panic stricken and rushed out of the tent.

The Marine Board found that the Itfaitland, wrecked on the New South Wales coast, was cast away through becoming unmanageable, and that no one was blameworthy. The Court praised the gallantry shown in saving Ufe.
