Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :— THURSDAY, MARCH 24. Wot Northern Ports, per Rotomahana, at 7.46 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. FRIDAY, MARCH 25. For Northern Ports, Westport, and Australian Colonies (via Wellington, due Sydney, March 31st), per Monowai, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, MARCH 26. For Dunedin, Invercargill, and Australian Colonies (via Blutf), Ceylon, India, China, &c, also specially addressed correspondence for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Suez, per Westraha to connect with Tarawera, at 12.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m. ; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. Due Melbourne April 4th, London May Bth. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30. For Northern Ports, South America and specially addressed correspondence for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per lonic, via Rio de Janeiro (due London, 11th May), Fiji, Hawaii, also British Columbia, Canada, United States, United Kingdom and- Continent of Europe, (per Warritnoo via Vancouver, (due London 4th May), per Westralia, as follows :—Money orders, at 4 p.m. ; registered letters and parcels, at 5 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 7.30 p.m. ; ordinary letters, 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. FRIDAY, APRIL 1. For Chatham Islands, per Kahu, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p. in. train. Mails for South Africa leave Melbourne on March 29th and April 7th. Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, and Te Oneroa,- close at ! Invercargill on March 25th, at 12.30 p.m. Mails for Noumea and Fiji leave Sydney on March 30th. R. KIRTON, Chief Postmaster.
