SHEEP FAIR.

AUCKLAND, March 23

At Messrfl A. Buckland and Son's sheep fair at Remuera nearly all the sheep penned were disposed of, while the few that were passed in were afterwards privately dealt with. Tho prices ruling were below those obtained at the fair held last month, there being a drop of about Is 6d all round. The demand for rams was small, as most of the owners are now all eupplied. The top price was reached by a Lincoln ram from Mr C. Hoekings's run at New Plymouth, which was purchased at £2 5s by Mr Pye. Several rams from tho flock of the Menlove Estate (Oamaru) brought £2, but the average prices ranged from 7s 6d to £1 Is.
