CLEARING SALES.

Messrs Fyne and Co. report having, most satisfactory clearing sale yesterday, off ■. behalf of Mr F. W. Kemp, at Darfield, - There was a very large attendance of buyerf - » from far and near, and every lot sold aft good prices. A team of three draught* (two mares and a gelding), aged respectively four, six and seven years, realised over £100, the gelding fetching £36 103. The implements were a good. lot, and, with the flock of sheep, over 500, together with the household furniture, all fetched full values. On Thursday last, on account of Mr Fred Button, Annat, who is leaving the district, the same firm conducted a clearing sale of live and dead stock. Every lot sold at fall values. Horses, aged, up to £18 10s; store wethers at 8s 6d, and implements at full values.
