MR DUTHIE'S SPEECH.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
WELLINGTON, March 17. Mr Duthie leaves for London, via San Francisco, to-day. At a meeting of his supporters last night, he said that he expected the Government to run the full term of the present Parliament before a dissolution took place. Personally he would never support a government of stagnation in regard to social and labour legislation. They had a lot of leeway yet to make up.
