Drunkenness.—B. Taggart, an old map. over sixty years of age, wae charged .with drunkenness. On the application of a Salvation Army representative he waa handed over to their care. Daisy Dale, charged with the same offence, was fined 5a and costs. Margaret Pattey, charged with the same offence, was, on the application of a representative of the Samaritan Home, handed over to the care of that Institution, conviction however being registered against her. Isabella Lecky, who had been twice convicted during the past six months, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment. Two first offenders were fined 5a and costs.

Alleged Drcnkknnkss.—Thos. Brown, charged with drunkenness, was remanded until to-morrow, in order to obtain the evidence of the watohhouse-keeper with reference to an alleged assault. Illegally ok Presuses. — Richard Reeves for this offence was sentenced to forty-eight hours' imprisonment. Alleged Forgkry.— Edward Robert Mc« Evoy was charged with forging and uttering a cheque for £6 12s 2d. Aooueed was remanded until Wednesday noxt. Case Remanded. —T. Wood, charged with being illegally on the premises of Mr Wiloox, Chester street, was remanded for seven days.
