ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
The sad intelligence was received ia Kaiapoi yesterday that Mrs JB. Legg, trail known as having been long resident in tbe town, had died in Christohureh, where sh« had undergone a critical operation on .. Saturday. It was stated the removal of s tumour had been successfully periornisdt but on Sunday the patient succumbed, much to the regret of many friends. Mrs Legg*! husband predeceased her, and she leaves 9 , daughter and two sons.to lament her sadden decease. She will be greatly missed in ' many ways by a large circle of a'cquaintanos-, in Kaiap0i........
