Djin Djin beat .Cornea over five .furlongs. . Goldleuf went a couple of rounds -at a solid pace. Conqueror ran ' four furlongs on the outside in 52sec, . going exceedingly, well. Uniform put* jup the beat gallop of the morning over the cup distance, which he negotiated with a flying start, carrying 7at 121b, with light shoes orr, in He ran one of the best once rounds ever recorded on the outside of the Hutt co_rse, the. time- 'being a tick over 2rain. Lepanto covered live furlongs, in lmin 7sec. which distance Off Chance accomplished a second faster. Marino skipped over four furlongs in 53sec. Tigress finished in front of Raupo 11. over six furlongs. Sir Agnes falloped six furlongs, Choroid picking him up at the five furlong p-ist, and beating him home by two lengths. Conscript had the best of Caballer over a four furlong spin. Guardsman easily defeated Lady Agnes by half a dozen lengths; over a measured mile in lmin 47£aec. Leda ran the last six furlongs of a round at top, going well. Daunt, Target, and Defiant, looking fresh and well, put in steady ,work ovet a couple of rounds.
