The following changes of masters and officers in the Union Company's service are reported; iDuring the lay up of the Tarawera Captain Richardson takes command of the Rotomahana. relieving Captain Manning, who joins the Penguin in the meantime in the place of Captain Weld, who is ashore ill. Captain E, S. Smith, of the Wanaka, takes the Te Anau while she replaces the Waikare in the intercolonial trade., Captain Berneob transferring to the Rotorua in the meantime. Mr Chrisp, ohief officer of the Wanaka, goes as chief officer of the Rotorua, and Mr Evans, late third officer of the Tarawera, is transferred to the Rotorua.
