(?ROM OUR OWN CORRKSPONKRNT.) NAPIER, Decembor 24. At Hastings, owing to a large number of horses going away this morning to Palmerston North, work on the track was rather uninteresting, and nothing but slow pacing was done. The following horses were out -working :—Dotterill, Girofla, Victoria Cross, Nightingale, Wakelyn, Tire, Nehgoehoe,, Pistol Grip, Straybird, Minnehaha, Pro. gross, loku-the, Derry, Primula and a number of others.
