Prince Henry of Ofleaus and Major Leontieff, recently appointed by the Negus as Governor-General of the Equatorial Provinces of Abyssinia, are organising an expedition to proceed to Africa, with the object of anticipating the occupation of Khartoum by the forces under General-Kitchener and of the Great Lake region.
