Prttt Awoclation —By Telegraph—Copyright. THE TICHBOBNE CLAIMANT. Sydney, November 11. Mr Edward Priestman, who is acting under a power of attorney for the Bey. Edward Williams, a Catholic priest of Devonshire, to-day obtained the sanction of the Court to have Wm. Cresswell, a lunatic in the Parramatta Asylum, whom Mr Priestman claims to be Sir Roger Tichborne, examined to discover if marks on his body correspond with those on Sir Roger Tichborne. A PROTRACTED SITTING. The sitting of the Legislative Assembly, whioh commenced last night, continues, and it is said is likely to do so for some time, with slight intermissions for refreshment. It has been discussing the Estimates the whole time. Mr Reid announced that he did not intend to adjourn until they ore finished. INTENSE HEAT IN ADELAIDE. A delude, November 11. The heat was intense yesterday. Daring the afternoon a cloud of dust obscured the sun, and gave it the appearance of a ball of lire.
