Prize shooting regulations. Kaiapoi put a good team in the field, but high shooting was rendered impossible owing to a stiff nor'-wester. The scores were :—Kaiapoi Rifles—Corporal C. Simpson 75, Private Drabble 83, Corporal Oram 73, Sergeant Pearce 60, Private Pearee 62, Lieutenant Simpson 71, Private Simpson 75, Private F. Robilliard 84, Private Hayman 62, Private N. G. Robilliard 68 ; total 713.
