The card was called over last night, and some life infused into the market. £600 to£loo was'offered in the room against Pay Star, and then £100 to 10 without finding 8 taker. £500 to 100 was offered in the hand against St. Paul, and £300 to 30 Waiuku. £200 to 20 was offered Skirmisher aftei £350 to 30 had been taken. £1100 was offered against Lord Uosslyn at hundreds to twelve. £650 to 65 was taken in the rooaa, the backer offering to go on at the price. Haria wan quoted at hundreds to twelve. An offer to take £1000 to 100 met with no. response. £10 to lin small amounts could, however, have been obtained. £600 at 100 to 16 wae offered against Epaulet, and n,ot meeting with any takers £500 to 28 WS4 quoted. £100 to 7 £100 to 6 Sir Lancelot, £100 to 5 Leda, £300 to 3 St. Conon and The Brook were closing prise* offered. , ••,. -i
