ANOTHER NEW STEAMER.
Tho New Zealand Shipping Compaay have coutracted with Messrs Swan and Hunter for a new steamer for the New Zealand trade. Her dimensions are 513 ft long, 57ft beam, 37ft depth of hold, twin screws, 5500----ndrse-power, speed when loaded 13£ knots, dead weight capacity 11,400 tons. The steamer will be fitted to accommodate 120 first and second class passengers, and a large number of third class. The insnlated chambers will carry 100,000 carcases of muttoo.
