Wednesday, October 20. (Before H. JR. Webb and C. H. Williams. Esqs., J.P.s.) Drunkenness. — Annie Murdoch, for thiß offence, waa fined £1 or, in default, fourteen days' imprisonment. Two men, not before convicted, were fined each 5s or, in default, twenty-four hours' imprisonment with hard labour.

Bicycle oh Footpath.—John Whitford, for riding a bicycle.on a footpath in Sydenham, woti fined ss, with 7s costs. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M.) Steauko Money.—Leonard Porter Hepburn (13), who had a neglected appearance, admitted having stolen £12, the money of James Leahy, Southbridge. SergeantMajor Bamsay said this boy's story was a sod one. His father was dead, and his mother not long ago committed suicide. He had been working a few days for Mr X*eahy, nad taken the money from the house and had cleared out. He seemed to have spent some of the money in cigarettes, &c, £1 3s was found on him, and he said he had loet or there hod been stolen from him a £10 note. He had a brother at Burnham, and the police suggested that he also should be«ent to that institution.
