NOTICE is hereby given that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled at its present session for leave to introduce a Bill intituled the St Albans Public Library Transfer Act 1993 Amendment Act 1897 to give power to Charles Robert Blakiston the present Trustee or other the Trustee or Trustees for the time beimi of the land and premises described in the schedule to the St. Albans Puhlu. Library Transfer Act 1833 to Sell and Dispose of "the same and to devote the net proceed, thereof to making improvements to the Knightstown Library premises and providing books and other literature for such library provided that not less than three-fourths of the net proceeds shall be devoted to making the said improvements. A copy of the said Bill was published in the Prkss newspaper on the 14th instant, and is deposited in the .Magistrate's Court, Christchurch, where the same is open for inspection.
