AUCKLAND, October 14. With reference to outdoor relief, the Charitable Aid Board members strongly advocated a labour tost for men, which was carried unanimously. A resolution advocating a State farm and stonebreaking, in order to make those ablo to work do something for a living, was carried, and it was further resolved that members be elected for three years instead of yearly. Another resolntion was—" That in the opinion of this Board no change be made in the present method of raising funds for hospital and charitable aid purposes." These resolutions -re to be forwarded to the Board's delegates to the Conference at Wellington" WELLINGTON, October 14.

The Hospital and Charitable Aid Board adopted unanimously a resolution in opposition to charitable aid being made a charge on the Consolidated Revenue.
