TOWNEND'S CELEBRATED CINNAMON CURB. Consumption, or phthisis, is a constitutional wasting disease in which the lungs are gradually destroyed by morbid deposits of tubercle and consequent ulceration. To the bacilli of these deposits the Cinnamon Care is highly antagonistic, and, in the early stages of the disease, is sufficiently powerful to overcome and destroy the germs on which the progress of the disease depends.
