TOWNEND'S CELEBRATED CINNAMON CURB. Consumption, or phthisis, is a constitutional wasting disease in which the lungs are gradually destroyed by morbid deposits of tubercle and consequent ulceration. To the bacilli of these deposits the Cinnamon Care is highly antagonistic, and, in the early stages of the disease, is sufficiently powerful to overcome and destroy the germs on which the progress of the disease depends. Apart from this, the valuable soothing properties of this remedy ate such as to speedily relieve the racking cough accompanying the disease, and so promote the patient's recovery. For all tho common ailments of the throat and lungs the Cinnamon Cnre is positively the best remedy extant. It is a certain cure in common cold, recent cough, loss of voice, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, whooping cough and croup, while its soothing and germicidal properties render it of the greatest value in pleurisy, pneumonia and catarrh.
