At the Ashburton Yards there was an entry of 6839 sheep, 27 head of cattle, and 13 pigs. The prices were—Fat crossbred ewes 6s 5d to &__ fat crossbred wethers lis to 15s 3d, fat merino ewes 5s 3d to 6e, store two-tooth crossbreds 8s 9d to lis 9d, store crossbred ewes in lamb 6s 5d to 7a, freezing ——-bred lambs 10s 2d to Bs, store lambs 6s to 7s 6d, merino wethers (eighttooth) 2s Id to 2s 4d, merino ewes 2a to 2s Id. Cattle—Beef at 15s W to 19s 6d per 1001b. Pigs at late rates.
