Eastern news states that Shanghai commemorates the Queen's Jubilee by erecting a Nursing Training Institute.
His Worship the Mayor has received from the Minister for Railways a telegram stating that holiday excursion tickets will be granted for the Record Reign Demonstrations at the rate of 2d pet mile first-class, and Id per mile second-class (mileage counted one way only). Tickets will be obtainable from any station to any station between Christchurch and Bluff and intermediate stations, including all branches, from the 19th to the 22nd of June inclusive, and will be available for return up to and including the 3rd of July.
