The many friends of Mr W. H. Pickett, for many years purser iv the New Zealand Shipping Company's employ, and more, recently in the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company. s.s. Tainui, will regret to hear of his death, place shortly .'after Mr Pickett- arrived in London, about vthe middle of February. Mr Pickett was a Sssenger out and Home again by the atatua, taking the round voyage : for the benefitfof his health, which" decidedly improved,- but apparently only: temporarily.
