THE HAMURANA COLD SPRING.
In the Native Land Appellate Court, at Rotorua, an appeal was made by certain nonsellers at Hamurana, claiming the celebrated Hamurana cold spring and all the land around it. The laud was purchased by the Crown last year. The appeal was not sustained, but the Natives were granted somo land to the eastof the stream. The spring, therefore, is Government property, aud the Natives will not be able to levy a toll on tourists in future, but will bo entitled to charge for taking visitors up and down the creek in canoes.
