GOOD TEMPLARY.
The usual weekly session of the Dauntless Lodge was" held on Friday evening, Bro. Oatee, P.C.T., being in the chair. Owing to the. resignation, of Bro. Wilson, Bro. Fellingham waa elected Secretary pro tern. A considerable ■ discussion took place re the proposed t concert, and it was unanimously decided to hold a concert and coffee supper on GoOd Friday. A Committee, consisting of Bros. Allpress, Oates, McCready, Fellingham, and Sisters Parry aud Fellingham was appointed to carry out the arrangements. Bro.Fellingham.D.D.G.C.T., handed to the lodge a member's certificate for the member who initiated the most candidates during the quarter. Harmony was indulged in, songs being given by Bros. Allpress, Jacques, Grose, and Fellingham, and Sister M. O'Keefe.
The fortnightly session of the Desire of Sydenham Lodge was held at the Sydenham Chambers on Thursday evening, Bro. Hill, C.T., being in the chair. Bro. Brown was initiated, and Bro. Jacques was re-admitted as a member. The Lodge then received a friendly visit from the District Lodges, consisting of Reviving Stream, Hope o? Christchurch, DauutlosH, and the District Lodge officers, Bro. Fellingham, D.0.T., with his officers, presiding. The D.C.T. congratulated the Lodge on its. working, and welcomed the visitors. Refreshments were then handed round, after jjvhich the following programme was successfully gone through:—Songe by Sisters Davis, Gardiner, Ashbolt, and Nicholls, and Bros. Allpress, Jacques, and Brown, recitations by Sister M; jSjaunton and Bro. Henderson. Votes of thanks to the district officers and visitors were jfcirried by acclamation. The" usual iwoekly session of the Reviving Stream Lodge, No. 75, Addington, was held on Monday evening, Sis. Foster, C.T., presiding. One candidate was initiated into the order and one member was granted his clearanoe card on account of his leaving New Zealand. It was decided to lend the old regalia of the Lodge to the District Lodge for the purpose of opening a new Lodge. Correspondence was read from the Gooq. Intent Lodge, Rangiora, to the effect ■ that members 'would pay ah official visit, about 22nd March, to the Reviving Stream Lodge. The Entertainment Comniietee raported that the anniversary tea and concert had been a big-success and that there was a good balance in hand from the same. The Lodge was then closed.
