CHRISTCHURCH. Fridavt. March 5. (Before W. H. Cooper, W. Pcudhoe, and S. Lawrence, Esqrs., J.P.s). Drunkenness.—For this offence a woman was cautioned and discharged. - Proh-bition Orders.—Orders of this -kind were issued concerning Michael Brady and R. J. Borland, prohibiting publicans and others in Christchurch and adjoining districts from supplying them with intoxicating liquor for one year. Breaches op City By-laws.—The following fines were indicted -—Sarah Leech, - for leaving a trap unattended, ss, with 7s costs; M. Wooqward, for firing a gun in the street, 103, costs 15s; for keeping kerosene for sale without license; T. Taylor, costs 7s; and H. Wardell, who did not appear, 10s, with 7s costs; J, Gribben, James Pepperell, and G. Bash, for,keeping lodging-houses without taking out a license, each 10s, with costs 7s; for neglecting to take out licenses as drivers of cans or carts, A. Walker, J; S. Berry, S. Cox, W. Newton. S. Buggy, and J. Kennedy, each ss, with 7s coats. **,
