The annual prize distribution took place on Thursday. Mr Robert Macartney, Chairman of Committee, presided, and presented the prizes. . Each child who nad passed a standard received a book, and the infants a picture book. Mr Fountain Barber's popular prizes fell to Winnie Limbrick and Leonawi Peryinan, and Mr S. Caiieton'e reading prizes to Minnie O'Connor, Cissie Lowe, and Annie Miller. Sewing prizes—Standard Vl.—Nellie Barnetfc, Ellen Wallace. Standard V.—May Brake, Nellie Herrick, Ettie Tanner. Standard IV.— Bessie Brake, Julia Heinzmaxtn, Winnie Barnett. Standard llL—Adelaide Le Campion, Bella Wallace, Edith Parretfc. Standard ll.—May Barnett. Standard L — Agti£3 Ludiniann, Adeline Forbes, Eleanor Miller. Class 11. — Sarah Welsh, Evelyn Johnston, lizzie Edmundeon, Annie Baker. Class L— Beatrice Philpott, Amy Tanner. Special prizesMrs Thos. Griffiths's—For best and cleanest work, May Brake; for neatness, Madge Carleton. Mrs Carleton's knitting prize —Nelly Edmundson. Mrs Edmundson's darning prize—Nelly Edmundson.
