■» I On Friday last the three-roomed dwelling 1 house of Mr John Quinlan, at North 5 Loburn,, was destroyed by fire, together with the contents. There was no one in tho house when the fire broke out, and it - was supposed to be caused by a flaw in the' chimney. Mr John Fitzgibbon, Mrs Quinlan's uncle, who had lighted a Are in the kitchen about an hour before, saw' smoke coming out of the house on eithei side of the chimney, and he endeavoured to - : save some of the effects, blit had a difficulty iu getting out of the burning building - again. The house was insured for £100 and the furniture and effects for £25 in ther Victoria oflice.
