McKibbin took seven wickets for 51,' Howell two for 60, Turner one for 68. In their second innings New South Wales have lost seven wickets for 136 (Noble 69, Iredale 21, Mackenzie 14). The weather was fine and the attendance large. Lyons played a dashing innings quite in his old style, and with Hill, who displayed his usual strong defence, made a long stand. McKibbin maintained an excellent length, and the batsmen found him almost unplayable. Noble's innings was an excellent display of rapid scoring.
