The Hon. W. Hall-Jones is a passenger from Wellington by the Penguin to-day. The Rev. A. H. Treadwell was a passenger for Wellington by the Corinna yesterday. ' Mr Hobhouse, Wanganui, is staying in Christchurch. Mr and Mrs W. F. Ward, of Wellington College, are on a visit to Christchurch. The Rev. Mr Fortune was a passenger for Wellington by the Corinna yesterday. The Rev. Harold Purchas and Mrs Burehas, Mount Somers, are staying here. Mr L..CoupL_nd, Wellington, is in Christchuroh. Mr C_ C. Cox leaves for Nelson to-day.
