SKIRTS.
Themajority of. women still prefer skirts that fjt the well at the front and sides, .and I>ave most of the fulness at the backhand they are.,quite right. Nearly all skirts spread out to at least four and a half yards at the hem, and are finished inside with a dainty balaleuse of pinked silk, in a shade to match same point in the costume, generally the flowers that grace the haf. As I have already told you, light materials, such as muslin aud grass lawn, are made separate from the lining, which should be of silk or fine rustling linen in a pretty contrasting shade. The slip usually has a pretty little frill of silk or lace at the hem.
