Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Washington, December 8. President Cleveland said, with reference to the British-Venezuela Treaty, that he thought it eminently fair, and he expected that the negotiations for a general arbitration treaty with Great Britain would soon be completed. The Government of Venezuela will convene a Congress to ratify the Treaty.
