Monday, December 7. (Before H. R. Webb and A. Scott, Esqrs., J.P.'s.) . Drunkenness.—Maggie Wickhara, who had been sent to the Hosoital, was remanded till Friday. Hoksk at Larghb.—An information against John Williams for allowing a horse to wander on Cambridge terrace was dismissed. Mastkr and Apprentices Act.—Michael Leonard Healip, an apprentice to Messrs Maine Bros., boot manufacturers, was charged, under the Master and Apprentices Act, with refusing to serve his employers. Mr Franks, who appeared for the complainants, said the defendant had gone back to his work that morning, and as the complainants did not wish to press for a penalty, he asked that the case be remanded for a week, to see if defendant would attend to his duties. The remand was granted.
