THE EXPLORERS' SYNDICATE. London, October 29. ~.' Mr Read, Chairman of the new Explorers' Syndicate, in a letter to the Financial News, states that many of the leading issuing houses have decided to boycott West Australian i properties until the laws respecting labour conditions are altered. The News adds that the Government had better yield without compulsion. DALGETY AND CO. The balance-sheet of Dalgety and Co., shows a profit of £98,865. A. dividend of 8 per cent, has been deolared, and £18,865 carried forward. DIVIDEND. The New Zealand and Australian Land Company has declared a dividend of _per cent, ALFRED SHAW AND GO. Mr Justice Williams has granted an application for the compulsory winding-up of Alfred Shaw and Co., hardware morohants, of Melbourne and London. * CYCLING.
