The play given is that of the first five tricks of a hand, and the problem is to deduce therefrom inferences whereby all the remaining cards may be placed except a few indifferent ones. East's hand is as follows:—Spades, Q, 7,6 2; Hearts, Ace, Q, 5; Clubs, Q, 5, 4; Diamonds, Kg, 6, 2. W is dealer and turns up 7 of Clubs as trump card. Trick L . N
