Press Association—By Telegraph—Cop. right. SYDNEY, September 14. The fifty mile road race Avas Avon by Pearson, in 3hr 21min 16sec. Alexander, the New Zealand cyclist, retired early in the race. MELBOURNE, September 14. The hundred mile road race, from Bendigo to Melbourne, was won by Wedd, in shr 28£ sec.
