"PRESS" v "TIMES."
The annual football match between employees from the Pkess and Times Companies was played at the Sj-enham Park on Saturday and ended iv a draw, the Press team scoring a penalty goal and the Time* a try. In the first spell the Press had the best of the game, but could not score owing to the good collaring of the Times men. From a penalty kick Halliday placed a good goal. The second spell was chiefly in favour of the Timet, and Crosby got over the line, but the try was not converted. For the Times, Buchanan, DeMaus and Crosby played well, and for tho Press, D. Halliday, Harrington aud McArthur. The game last year also resulted in a draw, the scores being made up precisely the same way as tin's year.
