Arrived—September 11. Bock Lily, ketch, Taylor, from Waitapu. Imports. Rock Lily—3s,oooft timber.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's direct liner Kaikoura, Captain Forbes, arrived yesterday morning from London, via ports of call and Wellington, with part cargo for Lyttelton. About noon yesterday, a barque was signalled as approaching the Heads from the South. It proved to be the American barque Delta, 537 tons, Captain Richards, from New York to Wellington, which had put in to allow of the services of a medical man being obtained for the captain, who is in an indifferent state of health.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's well-known ship Hermione arrived yesterday afternoon from London, via Wellington, with part of original cargo for this port. The Hermione is still in charge of the genial Captain Ceriez, also well-known in this port.
