There was a good attendance at Rangiora yesterday. At the Northern Central Yards of Mr W. Buss there was an entry of 2000 sheep, 150 pies, and 76 cattle. Four-tooth crossbred wethers cold up to 14s 9d, two and four-tooth wethers and maiden ewes 14s to 14s 7d, inferior two* tooths 10s 9d, fat butchers' ewes 13s 2d to 13s 6d, store hoggets to 9e 6d, ewes in lamb 13s 9d, merino do 6s 2d; pigs—small stores 6s to 7e 3d; cattle—cows £5165, heifers £2 10s to £2 15s. The auctioneers represented were Messrs Mateon and Co., Pyne and Co,, and O. King and Co. At Tenraka stock sale the prices were— fat sheep 13s 4d to 14s 6d, hoggete 10s 6d to lie lid, ewes in lamb 10s 4d to 13s 6d; two-tooth (turnipers) 12s 6d to 14s 9d, fat> cattle £4 16s to £6 17e 6d, stores £3 2a 6d to £4 16s, springers £2 12s 6d to £6 17s, pigs, baconere £1 10s to £2 6s, porkers 8s to 17s.
