I About two o'clock yesterday afternoon » young man fell from a coach opposite Dr. D-» Renzi's honse, Oxford terrace. He wa' taken into the doctor's rooms, where ha was found to be suffering from a bruised back and a slight concussion of the brain. The injuries, however, were not serious, and afcer a short time he was able to walk without assistance. (PRK-S ASSOCIATION TKLEGRAMS ) AUCKLAND, July 1. Mr Roxburgh, the contractor for the second sectiou of the Komata county road, met with a shocking accident. He had charged a hols in the rock, with powder and fuse and had ignited it, but as it did not appear to be burning properly he examined ie, when it exploded in his face. Roxburgh was thrown a distance and had his face so much burnt and cat that he was not recognisable. He also had a great cut on his neck and arm. His ej'e.ight will probably bo permanently injured. PAUIATtf A, July 1. A man named Oie Christiansen, a wellknowii settler here aud iv the Wairarapa, was found dead on tlj,e road last night, with the wheel of a trap on his head. The trap had been overturned and pinned him to the ground.
DUNEDIN, July 1. A man named Ewart, an old resident at Quartz Rsef Point, was so seriously injured by a fall of earth in his claim that he died shortly after reaching Cioaiwell Hospital.
