■Ci The second Oxford meet of the Bracken* field Hounds took pl*ce at Mr Dudy's farm at View Hill. The field were, generously' entertained by Mr and Mrs Dudy, and a capital day's sport was indulged in—three good runs and one kill. The mounts with ' few exceptions were the same as'the ' previous Wednesday. - The riding was remarkably good, and fence repairs will be ' a very small item to the .Club this year.' Such a long spell of fine weather.- has seldom been experienced by follower* 6t the Christchurch Hounds as hue been'the case eiuce the oeaeon opened.' There was,a> good master at the Bush Inn on Saturday. The' Master trotted' > the drag hounds to. •, Sockburn railway station, and throwing off - in the broom hard by, a line, was" taken through the paddocks of Mr Beay, behind Messrs Sherwin'fl, Stratford, Chokebdre, and Middle Park, and , through * Messrs Baines', J. Lowe's, and Higgott's, where (he first run terminated.' The second-one ..-'- - was longer, starting from,the Bush Inn, through Messrs Goodwin's," T." Lycn, so well, Messrs MoClure on Booneen, D. Kimball OB Nanakia, T. Stewart on Pastime, Archer on a bay, Matthias on a chestnut, Reed on Eliesmere, R. Allen on Disturbance, Cotterill on Donnybrook,pAlairet,on aohe»fcnut,Cooney f Thomas, Clarkson on a black cob, BaHejr, Lucelles, J. D.
