The great success of this machine is due to the fact that it is the only machine that feeds the work whilst the needle Is through the material being sewn, thereby preventing tbe possibility of puckering, gathering or driving, basting is consequently quite unnecessary. The vertical feed also enables it to ran over seams and from thin substances to very thick with freedom and ease. Messrs Minson and Co. f ally .demonstrated these qualities at the late Exhibition.
