CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB.
The monthly meetiug of the Committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club was held on Tuesday. The Hon. E. W. Parker was reelected Chairman, he to bo ex officio member of all Sub-Committees. Sub-Ooiiitni** ;e3 were el-acted as follows :—Programme—Sir George Clifford, Messrs Stead, C. Hood Williams and Winter. Course—Messrs P. Campbell, Morten, Stead, C. Hood Williams and Winter ; Passing Programmes — Messrs Martin, -Pyne and Williams. At the request of the WsstUnd Racing Ciub the was removed from C. Birkett. The following transfers were agreou to :—-Ftom G. G. Stead to G. VV. B*uka b f Oi-nauie, 2 y»*a ; G. G. Stead to M. Friedlaudcr, oh c Graud Cro3s, 2yrb, and eh f foal Circlet, by Medallion—lris. It wai resolved that C. Boyle be written to to forward the deficit that resulted ou the re-Kale of Rangiatea.
