(PESS ASSOCIATION TELEGR\M.) WELLINGTON, June 2. The New Zealand rowing team, with the ercoptiy.i of D»ly, arrived from Sydney by the Wakatipu. Tr.*/ state that r;he arrangements in connection with the Intercolonial' contests were most imperfect, and the regattas in New Zealand are very much better managed. Considerable dissatisfaction was expressed at the umpire* ruling in regard to the foul, particularly as at the diuner that official remarked (hat if he knew at the time what he learned after the race, his decision might have been different. Mr Bias states that New Zealand practically
gained her point in regard to the amateur deS&iiion, and in future contests only men barred will be " Cash amateurs." The other colonies promised to. visit New Zealand next year to coolest the Intercolonial Fours.
