The' Breeder and Sportsman of February 15th says : —The fine Australian sire Clieveden (brother to Chester) has been leased by J. B. Chase, of Stock Farm, for this season. Clieveden was to have been shipped to Australia, but Mr Chase, who has been a close student of the best bloodlines that contribute so much towarctmaking great racehorses, determined to secure this stallion. We congratulate him on his success, and believe be will never regret having this great sire on his well stocked farm.
