The New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association of Canterbury, Limited, are in receipt of the following cable message from their London office, under date 9th April, 1896:—" We quote to-day's value in Smithfield market— Prime North Canterbury mutton B£d per lb., prime New Zealand lamb 4fd per lb. Market depressed for both, owing to heavy supplies."
