CRICKET.
Oα Saturday last a resumption was made of the matches which some time ago were played annually between the Addinglon. and Hillside (Dune din) Railway Workshops. GPhe game was played at Sydenham. The wicket was too soft for much scoring to be done. Hillside went to the wickets first, and were disposed of for 39, McKenzie 26. Addingfcon scored 37, Forde 14. In their' second innings Hillside were all out for 22. Hobson 10. This left the local men with 25 to get, which number was obtained with three wickets down, Walmsley, with 9, nob out, being the chief agent. The most successful bowlers were Jones and Wilson for Addingtoo, and Garside and Chetwynd for Hillside. A smoke concert was tendered to the visitors in the evening.
