EVACUATION OF KASSALA BY ITALIAN TROOPS.

Cairo, April 7. Many Dongolese express their delight at the prospect of the Khalifa's overthrow. Six hundred deryishes have been killed before Kassaia, and this heavy loss is weakening tho pressure of the siege. Sir Redvevs Bailer is likely to take command in the Soudan in the auiumn. The dervishes are assembling at Firket and Kohreb. Reports are received here that the Khalifa has abandoned the attack on Kassaia and is mobilising forces at Berber and Alarad Wells. April 8. The commandant at Kassaia attacked the dervishes at Tuckruf, capturing several forts. General Baldisera forbade the renewal of assaults and ordered the evacuation of Kassaia and retired on Azordat. The defences of Suakim are completed. The dervishes of Tauianieb are making a raid on the friendly natives in the vicinity of Suakim.
