Easter Ssuvices.—The usual Easter Bervioes were held at the Church of St. Jobn the BnpUat, Raugiora, on Sunday. (The ohurch was nicely decorated with Sower* and evergreens, and, in spite of the bad state of theweAther, there were good congregations. Holy Communion was administered at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and the Vicar, the Rev. F. P. Fendall, preached both morning and evening. Miss Gardiner presided at the organ. Ab the Catholic Church, whioh wu also prettily decorated, three •ervicee were held, the Very Rev. D. P. O'Connor officiating, and there were good congregations. Appropriate musio was tendered by the choir. Dunmjin Oecbbstbai, Society.-—The conceit oa Monday night in Tiinaru given by the member* of the Dunedin Orobeatral Society WM * great success. There was a very large audience, and everyone wae delighted. In connection with tho lamented sudden de*th of Mr Elder, father of Mra Jamea vago, the members of the local Committee forwarded &. letter of condolence to that lady yesterday morning, and will attend at the railway station this morning when the remains will bo taken to Dunodiu by the the express for interment.
